i've got an n64 and 30 something bucks.
which means i could possibly get a phonecard.
don't know how many minutes i'd have though, i mean 30 bucks.
and may i just take this time to damn the hell out of the damn toy store
for not having super smash bros.
if you have not tried that game
then bless your poor, deprived soul.
okay, your opinion of the game may vary from mine
but this is my blog so bite it, cheeseliver!

i've gone mad, mad with my moderate amount of power!
mwahahahahahahahahahaha!
get under your desk!
i'm not even thirsty!

i talked to bridgie today!
i've never done that, i should though, it's pleasant.
you know, for once, my sister would be useful, and she's not around.
see, i wanna play 2 players on donkey kong 64
and her being the second player, and also being at work right now
is not helping that.

i am saddened that egg wave is not one of togepi's attacks.
okay, so it's still got some growing to do, so maybe
but so far, it's just a dream.

blah blah
i'm going.

and now you're older still.
^_^

hey everybody
how's it going?

i'm doing well enough, thanks.

i got pokemon gold and a gameboy color yesterday.
might get an n64 today, but that would mean no phonecards.
well, it would mean no phonecards with this money, anyway.
i *do* have other money than i could use...

i heart togepi.
why am i so tired?

i know phil's birthday now.
i knew phil's birthday before, but i forgot that i'd known it.
and i asked him in the car the other day, and it all came back to me.
i won't forget again
it's written down on my handy dandy calendar.
what a handy thing it is.

um... hey, i should spend those certificatey things i've got from xmas.
i'll do that sometime. it'll be wonderful.
i tried to blog last night, but it got lost. i wasn't in the mood to argue with it.

i walk along darkened corridors
later, babies.

we finally got to do the crochet thing today!
yay!
beth called at about 10am, and said she'd pick me up around 12
i had plenty of time to do every little thing i needed to do, which was good
because one of those things happened to be laundry.
she asked if i didn't mind going to her house, which struck me as odd, cause i had figured it'd be there anyway, hence my naming it the big time beth's house crochet jamboree (at least i *think* that was it).
for some reason, beth thought she was being rude, for not asking things, like whether i minded if phil gave me a ride home.
come to think of it, it makes sense, but really, i'm much more of a roll-with-it type of person, and didn't really find anything all that bothersome. i guess i'm just more used to people who aren't so polite, or whatever.
after a while of just me and beth crocheting (we ate and watched quantum leap, which had maybe not the best cast jack kerouac in it, and picked up her mom from work), she was able to get in touch with sarah and phil, who were both home and able to come over at that time, which was wonderful. phil and beth are so cute together! it made me clap gleefully and hop a little. i hope they didn't take it as a sign to cut it out. certainly it wasn't that.
sarah finally got caught up on comics. she wanted to see more of the us going to see tmbg thing, i would like to have drawn more than i have, but this is not the case, sadly. they taught phil how to crochet a little, and for a little while, we were all crocheting at the same time. it occurred to me, as it does sometimes, that i have the most awesome friends ever.
anyway, onto the way kick ass stuff that has been crocheted today by all of us...
i, after a bit of stumbling, which beth graciously helped me through, made a little bag, which is pretty good for my first time crocheting correctly! crafty, they said... not in the bad way, though.
phil did a slight bit of chain, and some of the kind of crocheting that i had been doing on said chain.
beth had been working on a night cap for phil, which never fails to be funny, especially when you think of him carrying it around, and having to put it on whenever he sleeps, that got finished today. she made him a bowtie as well, and hairbands for herself and sarah. ooh ooh, and a skullcap for me! yay!
sarah is borrowing my stuff for to crochet a handkerchief (my yarn was the kind used for that, and it way too small and trying for me to work with, beth gave me some nice gray yarn that i can work with). she also borrowed one of my hooks. she's gonna be on a plane for a while, and she needs to do something. then she knitted, she's doing a scarf now.

not at all bad, eh? really a good day all around. i feel kinda bad though, not giving the bad i made to beth, you know, for teaching me to crochet correctly, and making me a skullcap (not to mention giving me food, i like food), but i figure i can do something a bit nicer, and i doubt she has any reason to hide her money from gypsies anyway. i thought of giving it to sarah as well. no matter, it has a happy home with me. i get to keep stuff in it! it's a bag! i made it! yay!
i might make another later, as well, if that seems to be all i can make. eventually, i'll do something that isn't a bag. at least i hope so. actually, if you think about it, i could do a scarf right now, really. i should do that. i should learn, though, to do a whole buncha things that aren't scarves.
i'm really happy about this! it's so neat to be able to make something that is wearable, ya know?
though what i'd really like is to make a warm thing to sleep under. a nice afghan, but i'm getting ahead of myself.
i think, though, that what will be my greatest project, is making a stuffed toy of some kind. it wasn't so hard to make a bag, however crude it may be. i bet i could do some nice toy type things. that's what i'll do. i think sarah and beth would dig the idea of that, and of course i'll be making them something. i don't know what though. suppose i'll work it out later.
speaking of work, i might get a job at a hotel. i'm gonna shoot for night desk guy, cause noone's around then, but at the very least, i could clean. though after seeing what we did to that hotel room in montreal, i dunno if i want that (i'll give us credit, though, we cleaned up really well, lemme tell ya).
maybe i'll make a sweater sometime, that'd be so cool!
so yeah, today went well.
^_^

sorry if that last entry sounded rushed.
i was trying to remember all that i could of the one that got lost that i could
and i kinda hurried it along.

anyway, did a comic tonight.
don't think it's a very funny one.
but it's alright, and at least i've done one.
it's a follow-up on the whole dubya song thing.
don't know whether i'll pursue that more tomorrow
or be able to do something else
but i'll try to do more, if i can before beth calls.
cause you know, crocheting tomorrow.
i hope i wake up early enough, jeez.
today, i woke up at 5:30!
5 friggin 30!!
dammit!

anyway, not much went on today
i ate some delicious pineapple!
listee beth signed my guestbook!

i'm apparently not the only one having some trouble with blogger.
erika has been too, and she asked me about it today.
well, at least i'm not the only one.
i hope blogger doesn't go all horribly goofy again.
suck.

in a big country
dreams stay with you
like a lover's voice
across the mountainside

that song is stuck in my head.
not the whole song
cause i've never heard the whole thing
but just that one part from the commercial for that 80's rock thing.
man, i like those songs.
if i had that 80's rock compilation thing, i'd learn to play those songs
on guitar sure,
but it'd be sooooo much funnier to do them on an accordion.
isn't everything, when it comes down to it?

you know, it was cool (and funny as all hell)
i saw a guy once
actually, it may have been on new year's eve last year
anyway, he had worked out some music on his accordion
for ginsberg's footnote to howl
and i was muy happy to finally get to see it
cause my friend dan had told me about it a billion times
man, that was great.

and on that note, i bid you a fond adieu.
may you be well
and all that other crap people say
when they're about to leave.
^_^

crappin crap!
i just wrote a great post for this, and it just got lost! agh!
bastard!

anyway, i was right about last night, it was mostly a bore
except for me being in a dress
we took the 3 pics left on the camera
now all the pictures of me in girlie clothes can be developed
and, if i so decide, put on my site
or maybe just sent out to people.

i was wrong, phil, beth, and sarah went to maine
i felt i should correct myself
both the misinformation and the correction are from lauren
she's a dirty liar.

they put makeup on my and i put on her prom dress last night.
i didn't wanna take off my shirt at first, cause i didn't want anyone to vomit
but i got comfy with it later (i may be comfy with myself, but i still have low self-esteem)

laugh, but i'm a damn pretty gal!
bwahahahaha!

there wasn't any drinking,
as opposed to the hotel party,
which woulda been way swingin
and noone's roommate woulda been afraid that
the feds would take away her teacher's license.
damn playing good friend!
not that i was too broken up about no booze, ya see.
i was having my own fun being in a dress,
taunting lauren,
and having cupcakes and root beer.

what to do now... well, i guess one of these is in order-
the year in review:
well, i've had good times with good friends, started doing comics, joined the list, got me a gal to call my darling, and got me an accordion to also call my darling, but more commonly call my accordion, and other nice things.
also, i've seen good friends turn their backs on one another, had my comics nearly killed as a result, still don't have a job or further education (even if i *wasn't* trying the majoity of the year), among other not so nice things (for instance, having other guys call my darling their darling as well hasn't been so pleasant, and not knowing whether she still wants me to call her my darling is kicking my ass as well).

at the end of it all
i was wearing a prom dress
playing random chords on a sixty dollar guitar
while friends sat on the bed kissing
and i continued being lonely
eventually just repeatedly playing d
trying to laugh through it

fuck you, year 2000
i'm onto you and yer whole operation
and it stinks

and none of that cool stuff conan said came true, either!

i feel a bit better now.
blogging is good for you kids!
go! now! blog! do it now!

maybe it wasn't such a bad year after all.
or maybe this is just the hope that beauty will thrive in this one
and happiness will run through the sprinklers in it's undies

happy new year, everybody.

...

and maybe it'll even sunbathe topless.
^_^

so i'm going to lauren's party sometime tonight.
we shouldn't call it that, more of a
sit-around-for-an-undetermined-amount-of-time
more politely termed, a get-together.
no need to say i'm mean, lauren would agree here
especially with the grand history of her parties in mind.

so there!

as soon as i can wrangle myself some time to get a haircut,
i think i'll do that.
i'm thinking i'll have it dyed a bright sort of orangey-red.
or maybe a deeper, redder type thing.
i don't know.
with the pictures taken today, i think this look is well documented enough
and now, i can change it.
not that it hasn't been good to me,
i've had a buncha good times with this
buncha bad too.
anyway, it's just kinda time, i think.

i'm kinda hoping that the gang will show up at lauren's sometime tonight.
i could sure go for some tmbg fueled fun, and that is not to be had at lauren's
not that it'll be bad there, but it'd be better with the gang.
i'm hoping sarah urges them to go enough so that they will.
but i donno what they're doin tonight.
i think going to kristina's place (different kristina altogether, listees)
and hanging there all night with hannah, l'enfant
the bear on the light goes buzz buzz buzz
(it really doesn't)

my sister's friend's mom got 3 hotel rooms for their party.
my parents are at the same hotel at a party that i could well have gone to.
but then i'd have to dress nice.
and we all know that my personal style doesn't include the
modern version of "dressing nice"
not that i couldn't have, though.
i just rather like my tmbg shirt,
my cardigan with the holes in it
and my plain ol' cargo pants.
anyway, i don't have a date and won't get a kiss
no matter how i dress.

so there!

why do i still feel a monster headache coming on?
i just took 3 gigantic tylenol!
they should have kicked in by now.
and i shouldn't be tired, either, dammit!

maybe i should go eat something.
hmm...
i think the headache is starting to subside.
that's good. cause i don't want no damn headache.
if the gang shows up, and i end up going with them,
i'll see if they wanna come get the comic.
i should do some crazy millenium comics.
and i've already got a place to start a short
"how the hell did george w. bush get elected?!" series.

robot parade
robot parade
wave the flags that the robots made

man, i like that song.
pictures today.
not the fun kind, don't get excited.
went well enough, i didn't look too bad.
i need a backrub.
i need to make out with someone.
blah blah blah, i need i need
i need to stop my goddamn whining.

in a future time
children will work together
to build a giant cyborg

sam signed my guestbook!
go sam!
sam kicks ass!

wrote to mike leffel last night.
i'll get to bob scott eventually.

i was just talking to non-listee beth.
we have discovered the ultimate truth.
that we're all just made of candy.
it was stuck in theory stage until beth found the candy for sad
crybabies.
i just thought of tearjerkers just now.
though maybe that's for something else.
i wonder what the gummi venus di milo would do...

grumpa lumpa dunpity darmed guards

bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
