anyway, after she came back from pa, everything was so much better
SO much better.
things get rocky sometimes, but overall, we're back to greatness

so the apartment's computer's broken.
at the parents' house now
laundry central, as it were
except that i'm not doing any laundry right now
i did earlier today, though

lauren's doing a sleep shift
she usually doesn't get much sleep
as her friend emily talks her ear off all night
so i guess it's good that she slept all damn day today
but man, i am tired
oh, and lauren go fired from jrc
subsequently did some research and found some things
you know, horror stories about jrc and students dying and all that
(search for jrc/bri or the history thereof or horror stories therefrom, if you like)
she's got a new place, the groden center
not bad, pays a lot less, but it works out
two hated people that i should mention are-
fola, a lazy-ass lady who came over from africa and really likes telling people
that they "need to" do things
for instance, i was inside ONCE, first and so far last time
she's there, and i'm kinda standing in the kitchen, not knowing what to do
and she says "you need to move now"
and here's a much better one
lauren and her friend diana were restraining a student
and fola comes in and says "diana, you need to fold this laundry"
or something like that
it might have been "you need to do the dishes"
granted, the person who cooks has to do dishes
but when someone is restraining a dangerous retard
and you're sitting on your ass doing nothing
you might as well do the dishes, seeing as the staff ARE supposed to work as a team
and then there's jeffery
he's a student
they put him on new meds
then he started going off a lot
so they upped his dosage
and now he goes off A LOT!
lauren hates him now
he was probably a jerk before
but now he's just awful
and she can't wait for him to leave the program
(it happens in august, if not sooner)

but fola's really the one that gets on lauren's nerves
because she just doesn't do anything
and is a complete bitch

so lauren's been cutting my hair
it's getting kinda shaggy again
i kinda like it short, but i so miss my linnell hair
so i'll try to get a haircut that mixes the two
like the short linnell haircut
(it exists, i've seen it, and so have you, most likely, if you're reading this)

the tv in the apartment is now completely without programming
it's only good for movies and video games now
so we play a lot of video games
and the phone got shut off, so we haven't been able to use the computer there
all the bills soon have to be put under my name
lauren's plan to build up my credit
not such a bad one, i don't think

i have a job, kinda
well, i'm training to be an electronics salesman at sears
i have shit to read
booklets, 3 or 4
and a few forms to fill out

ones is a quiz on something called msds
which is supposedly in a booklet
but i haven't seen it
and i really don't feel like reading the damn things
so i'm going for a security guard job
like really hard, starting tomorrow
which is the first day i find out when i'm scheduled at sears

i looked intensely for a week to see if i could find a martial arts i wanted to take up
the answer, in short is no.
in long, it's yes, but nothing is near me that i really really want or could afford
i'll probably just end up taking euchi ryu with beth
and maybe mix it with aikido, as i've seen a sign for it somewhere
i wouldn't be able to afford it on the 0 base comission i'll be getting from sears
(if i don't make minimum wage, they give it to me out of a drawer
but the second i start making more, they take it away til i'm paid up)
so i'm really hoping for the security guard job
that'll give me enough for many things
if the guy recruiting wasn't on the same mental level as lauren's students
i might have a position there already
but no, it's i call, he tells me he'll look
he doesn't look and proptly forgets everything about me, i call again and the process repeats itself
what a complete fool he is
and perhaps i am for continuing to call
but i need the steady income that isn't minimum wage
and won't be taken away from me
because i have things to buy and rent to help with
and fuck that guy for not helping me out at all
the dick, what the hell is wrong with him?

the toilet in the apartment is broken
so i have to use the one here
for fear that that one will overflow again
and then i'll have to re-clean the bathroom floor
and try in vain to fix the toilet
as i have been for days

lauren gets paid on thursday
i don't think the training lady from sears likes me at all
i got paid for the training, though
don't know how much, guessing minimum
better than nothing

will be entirely worth the money spent on it
