oh yeah, and i finished mostly harmless.

things are going rather fantastically well
fantastically well enough to make me really want to blog about them

first off, and most recently learned about, beth is going to check out tenchi.
this makes me grandly happy, because i love the show
and beth has gotten me into a few shows
which means i want to return the favor, if possible

beth told me she doesn't really like anime... the eye thing
but she seems to be warming up to it a bit, and i hope she'll watch tenchi and love it
because i really don't have anyone in the gang to talk about it with
and noone believes me about ryo-ohki not being a rabbit when they see her drawn by a small child in newport creamery. she says meow! she's not a bunny! she's a spaceship! she's ryo-ohki!

the second thing is, i wrote something today. it's only a paragraph, but it feels important, and very much like something that i want to continue working on, and i love it love it love it. it is good, as paragraphs go. and sets the tone for whatever the hell it'll turn out to be quite well, i should imagine. it's one of *those* paragraphs.

thirdly, i got a reply from bob scott that had lots of interesting things in it that i shall reply to at my soonest convenience (not really unusual for mail from him, but it's good-mood inducing, and he's one of the people i wanted to tell about my writing of the paragraph ths morning). but not just now, as i have to go eat breakfast.

so, i'm reading mostly harmless.

i'm almost done, i get through douglas adams books really fast.

way faster than books by many other authors.

might start writing again soon.

hopefully, anyway.
