update on pokemon action-
i caught moltres!
finally!
and the messed up thing about it
is that is was so much easier
to do than it was
when i was trying before
it beat me a buncha times!
or things didn't line up right for me to catch it
as they sometimes don't
but this time, it seemed rather a breeze
which was odd.

anyway, read the last post if you haven't already
cause i made that just tonight
and it's got the more relevant information
about the state of things, i just got excited about this
and so had to blog about it.

still on stinkin victory road
which isn't really a road, but a cave.
a really bitchy cave, where everything is angry at you.
i'll figure out how to get through there
and i'll catch mewtwo
and i'll trade them for, like, bellsprouts or something
with gold or crystal
or both, i don't see why both couldn't have them...

but i still haven't even seen a pichu.
i guess they're only in silver
or not anyplace i've already been in gold and crystal.
crud.
maybe i'll get silver someday.
ooh, if i get silver, i can divide my crystal pokemon
between that and gold
and then start a new game of crystal
and trade all my other pokemon back to crystal again!
...s'worth a shot, anyway.

i thought i'd be able to find one in gold or crystal
since recently i've been catching pokemon that
i'd never heard of before, like teddiursa (it's cute!)
maybe i'll find one in kanto, i haven't looked there
but i think the deal with that is
that all the pokemon from the original live there
and the new ones only live in johto
which shoots down the finding a pichu there theory.

ah well, i'll figure it out eventually.

my sister sorta pirated the computer
so she could download music
didn't really go near the thing til yesterday or so
why bother, right?

so anyway, aunt shirley went back to florida
and now aunt millie and uncle tommy are up here
(also from florida)
so i'm still playing cards a lot

i know i said osama's reasoning is twisted
and of course, for someone to command such things
something's gotta be wrong with his head
but it does bother me to see the enquirer
or some such paper
saying they're giving a look into his twisted mind
because it's propaganda
and i dislike propaganda immensely

and also, it makes him out to be
a lot more, i think, than he actually is
which is also pretty dumb

alright, enough of that
i'm so sick of talking about it
but re-reading my last post reminded me of it

by the way, if you ever get a chance to try red bananas
you should try red bananas
they're good

cowboy bebop is finally back on adult swim
guess they thought it was too violent or something
i am certainly happy that it's back, i'll tell ya
cause that is one damn good show

i went to see weezer!
it rocked!
hooray!
me and lauren were there before
sarah and ian, who i thought would be there first
cause it's sarah, and she loves weezer
and by logic would have been there first
but oh well
the opening act wasn't that good
and that's being nice
they played nirvana's "breed"
and for those few minutes
they were playing a good song
the rest was less than
so yeah
but weezer was great
as was to be expected
but i can definitely say
that i like indoor shows better
you know, the more intimate sort of club ones
like tmbg play most times
still my favorite live band

speaking of live music-
the other dan is now performing again!
i donno where
but it's a coffee house
and he's got saturdays all to himself
and it's about damn time
cause he's good
and i think he needs to play
more than he knows just yet
but he'll get back into it
and realize what's up eventually

as for me, still not much accordion playing ability
still not a lot of songs written
still not a lot of songwriting going on
still want that to change

my sister's birthday is tomorrow
and i start my job on the 2nd
which isn't far away at all

and i've been playing pokemon yellow
for a couple days
getting farther than i've ever been
in any old school pokemon game
i'm still trying to catch moltres
then i'll have all 3 legendary birds
and i got the fossil pokemon
and i wanna find and catch mewtwo
which i will, believe me
even if it takes me a month
(i don't think it'll take me a month)

and then a bunch of them will be traded
to pokemon crystal
because i wanna have the bestest pokemon in that one
for some reason
and i found my other gameboy
hence all the trading i've been doing
between gold and crystal
they were showing 3rd series digimon for a while
in the afternoons, but now it's 1st again
which is alright, but i'd rather see 3rd
but then again, since i'll be working
i wouldn't be able to see some of them
so i suppose it's all for the best

the gang is gonna tape buffy for me
it premiers the first night i work
what a crappy thing that is, eh?
i may have mentioned this earlier.

i should finish that mail to bob scott, it's been waiting a while
but there's a lot to reply to
and not as much time as i'd need to reply to it
so i guess it'll have to wait a while
i'm sure he won't mind
he's got plenty of things to do that aren't reply to me, anyway.

ok, so i guess i'll go now
not really anything more to say
i've not forgotten about the belvedere thing
but i'm waiting to put it in the bob scott mail first
cause i mentioned it to him beforehand
and it only seems right to let him have at least one before you
i've not written the other ones
i should have, when i thought of them
because i don't know how they went now
but maybe i'll rewrite 'em
