i went to the dentist today
which went pretty well
i think this is the last visit on the insurance
if my dad is right about it running out on my birthday
anyway, i gots some good news
i have some new contacts!
well, they were mostly paid for already
cause we had ordered some
and they came in
but we didn't get them til now
i guess my dad forgot
and i thought we'd have to pay
which we did, but not a lot
so now i'm wearing them
and i've got an appointment
for my eyes to be checked in january
you know, if i'm still in the country at that point
which i may not be, cause you know, irealand
i'm gonna get new glasses

i just went out to eat
i kinda forgot i was in the middle of blogging
seems that i now have a new car
neat, huh?
(not so much surprising, since
my mom asked for my keys
and it's getting really close to my birthday
my parents are kinda predictable that way)

i had no part in picking it
but it's neat anyway
though i do mind a bit
that my car has been picked by someone else
not like i would have easily made such a decision
i'd prolly be carless this time next year
but this one looks like i'll be able to get along with it
so long as it doesn't, you know, stop working
as all my cars seem to do

another thing that bothers me
it has the old plates from the van on it
instead of my own plates from my old car
but i can deal with that, it ain't so bad

so now i really have to get a job
which i was looking to do anyway
but now it's pretty necessary
and something i should do right away

didn't play any pokemon today
i went to bed at like, 3am
and got to sleep probably a lot later
cause i don't fall asleep so easy
so then my dad wakes me up for my dentist appointment
and much staying awake later, i fell asleep on and off
at various points this afternoon

really a pain
but i got some sleep anyway
and i'm still pretty tired
so maybe i'll get some sleep tonight
after adult swim

and for once, the term tonight
doesn't technically mean last night
because it's not 4am this time
and that's around my usual blogging time

but not tonight, i don't think
cause i'll be too tired to stay awake

i'd like to actually sleep at night
if only for a few days
and for the sake of being awake to do things
such as whatever is gonna come along
not that i know what that is
or even if it's gonna happen in the daytime

and settled on watching half baked
and then just started playing pokemon
later, i came to blog about beating it
then i saw that it was like 9pm
and was like "crap!"
so that puts a damper on the happy love fest
that i've got going on just now
and things in life
life such as it is
not that there aren't things i would change about it
but for right now, i'm really just happy
which is rare, so i'm not gonna mess with it

i think there was something else i forgot
and i seem to still be forgetting it
but i'm talking to davey just now
so i think i'll just publish and talk
but i've decided
since it's now 4:30
i'm just gonna stay up
it's too close to 5am to go to bed

whether this is what i forgot or not
and it may well be
i figured out what i'm gonna do next
in the comics
because the vikings were going nowhere
so i'm getting rid of them
but i just hope that the way i wanna do it
won't be too abrupt
but since i picked up on that already
i can draw it out a little

i beat the pokemon league
in gold *and* in crystal
yay for that, and for my pokemon
who all rock hard
harder than lord rockington of rockingshire
who lives in rocksfield manor
which has been in his family since feudal days

so now there's some more playing to be done
and i look forward to it
really i do
because it's gonna be great
mostly cause in kanto, i hope to find a couple of pikachu
and then they can mate
and then i shall have in my possession a pichu!
and hooray for pichu!

what i like a lot, though, is the opportunity
to train all the pokemon that i didn't train so much
while i was getting through the first part of the game
which you don't see too very often, and it's good
otherwise, you just end up with so many pokemon that
you've done nothing with when the game is all finished
so i like having a chance to raise those pokemon too
*continues talking about pokemon as if they are real*

oh! oh! oh!
and i watched a tenchi movie a couple days ago
the first one
it's such a damn good movie
and i love the whole tenchi thing so much
the animation is really really good
fantabulous, even
more than that, really
just beautiful
i hadn't seen it in so long, you know
i wish they'd put some tenchi on toonami again
or that i had enough money to buy the volumes on tape
or on dvd, though i don't have a dvd player
i think cowboy bebop is on dvd only
and i'd get that one, too
cause that's also a damn good show
and i'm bound to get a dvd player sometime
so it wouldn't be a pointless buy
and even if i never end up having a dvd player
lauren has one now
so i could either borrow it
or otherwise use hers for the viewing of my dvd's

so i think i might go to bed soon, or maybe not
i'm talking to lauren, ya see
apparently, the guy she hooked up with from work
has got a girlfriend, so she feels like the crap
but i fixed that with a quickness the likes you haven't seen
since, i don't know, something you saw that was moderately fast
cause i rock like that
but i feels tired
not so tired that i can't stay up
but like, i don't really want to, cause it's late enough as it is
but then, if it turns late enough, i'll just stay up
maybe watch another tenchi movie
there're two more to go through so far
i guess i'll watch them in order again
eventhough it doesn't really matter which one you watch when
cause they don't depend on the others for background information

i need to call weezie
or make sure my dad calls her
or make sure aunt alice talks to her
about hayley coming over on my birthday
(weezie is my cousin, and is hayley's mom
so talking to her would be really really useful)
so i can set that up
i'm thinking we should celebrate my birthday
either early or late
so that it'll be the weekend
and hayley will be able to come over early
and we can fill an entire day with fun
i wanna rent video games
i suppose i could buy them, but i don't see why
i mean, i'd play them after that day
but thinking in the case of the one day
renting is the way to go
i hope pokemon stadium 2 will be there
it should be, it's been out long enough
to stop being so popular
which is to say, the kids should have moved on by now
but the weekend before, i've got phil and ian's halloween party
(it strikes me how close the two will be, of course
but i doubt highly that the two will be at all related
which i don't really mind, to tell the truth)
and besides, there's work schedules to deal with
and all that sort of thing
lots of planning will have to go into this
and i should prolly start now
of course, i needn't be all one day
like i could hang with hayley one day
and with the gang another
it really wouldn't bother me at all
and would really cut down on planning
being as it isn't so specific
it'd just be really awesome for all to coincide

i didn't eat all yesterday
well, i did, but it wasn't til really late
like, me and lauren came here to get drunk
cause she mentioned wanting to drink
and i happen to have liquor in my room
then she was calling chris
chris is a kid we've hung with a few times
an old acquaintance of hers, but they've gotten to talking now
and for a while, me and chris seemed to be paired together
when she was hanging with me, she'd call him, for instance
which is why we've hung with him a few times
anyway, she called chris and he's always complaining about his parents
and how they are terribly on his back all the time
so after some arguing, she gets him to go over he apartment
you know, just to get him out of the house
(i made a mistake when i said lauren's the most controlled by her parents
cause i think chris is now, but in a different way
but in any case, he didn't even wanna walk past them to get out of the house
for fear of getting shit from them, or something
even after he remembered that it was very late, and they were asleep!_
so eventually, lauren left with some of my booze
and i went upstairs to make macaroni and cheese
and i also had american chop suey
and i also had a salad
because that was most or all of what i'd eaten that day
and was, understandably, pretty hungry

and today, i woke up at some delightfully early time
and subsequently go right back to bed
though i know i should get up
and then wake up again at 5-something in the afternoon

but now it's tomorrow already, being 4am
the other night i had a dream
erika was working in a pizza place or something
and i was trying to get her to go someplace with me
when she got out of there or something
and maria was there as well
but not working, a customer, like me
and i tried to get her to go someplace as well
but a different place
like, trying to set up two different dates
though i'm almost hesitant to use that term
it was weird
one of those dreams where nothing really extraordinary happened
like, something that could be written in someone's diary
like neither good nor bad
but i'll count it as good
cause i haven't seem maria in a long time
and i haven't seen erika at all, except in pictures or on the web cam
both people that i hadn't recently talked to, anyway
maria moreso, since i haven't been able to get a hold of her forever
so it was nice to see both of them, as if it were a page out of life

hmm. whether to just stay up or not...
if i don't, i'll sleep way too long
if i do, i might just fall asleep later
and then sleep the same amount, just starting later
well, we've got milk now
so i can heat some up
and then add some of the cold coffee in my room to it
like i did this last time i watched the first tenchi movie
the day i watched the movie, there was hardly any milk to speak of
people keep buying half-gallons, cause there's no room in the fridge
but people also keep not buying any when the half-gallon runs out
so i never know when i'll actually have any milk
ah well, not like it's the end of the world

mostly because i wrote it days ago
and it didn't publish right
and only now have i gotten the chance to publish it

okay then, now the news
nearly beat the pokemon league in gold
down to one pokemon each
and if he'd missed an attack or two
i would have had it
but instead, i'm going to raise the levels
of the pokemon that are at 45 now
to maybe 47, but more likely only 46
cause i usually only do it one level at a time
cause who wants to do all that?
i have to work on the pokemon
because i don't have anymore money with which to
buy useful items, like potions and stuff
well, 3000 something
but that won't get one far
when everything's 2500
and that's a pain in the ass

anyhow, my dad says to get new contacts and stuff
so i guess maybe that'll happen soon
i wanna get new glasses to fall back on
and all new prescriptions of everything
so that i will be able to stick with these things for a long time
because i don't wanna cost anyone any more money than i have to
which is why i've been trying to stick it out all this time

my godson turned 5 today.

there was a lady there painting faces
and i became a pirate
complete with eyepatch
cause she had a bag of them

i had decided rather early
like 5am, not to go to sleep today
(well, now yesterday)
and i showered, and put my contacts in
but i'd only had them out for a couple of hours
and i knew my eyes wouldn't be happy with that
so i took them back out and went back to bed

but eventually, i'll get the hang of the not going back to sleep thing
then i'll get some good rest at night
and wake up at a decent hour the next day
not that the afternoon hours aren't decent
i just prefer them when i'm awake for them
you know?
