doing laundry in the tub
lots of it
washer's backing up
had to pull clothes out of smelly water
it was disgusting

we're getting happier
not quite where we wanna be
but we'll get there, in my opinion
i think we just trip ourselves up
by sticking our heads firmly in our asses
and not realizing we can just be
and then things'll be better than incredible
like they were before, when our asses were head-free

i should tell her that
maybe it'd help
anyway, we love each other, and i believe that will prevail
cause it's stronger than any bull we put ourselves through
