completely bloody forgot
and it's part of what i wanted to blog for in the first place
my dear friend phil, and my other friend ian
are throwing a halloween party
beth told me about it
and will keep me informed
insofar as she is informed
which is really nice of her
it's sometime shortly after halloween
which is fine with me
(cause why wouldn't it be?)
and i donno what i'm going as
(COSTUME PARTY! YAY!)
(i'm thinking girl)
(that is to say pwiddy pwincess)
(or goth skank)
(what's with all the stinkin parentheticals, eh?)
but i'll figure it out, and no matter what
it's gonna be good
cause i gets to hang with my friends
and that's never a bad thing
but i'll tell you what is a bad thing
my hand itches
my left hand
like it's got poison ivy or some such thing
the thing is, it doesn't bother me half the time
mostly in the hot sun
as has been shining on me at work
but now it's being relatively nice to me
earlier i scratched it til it was all red and a little puffy
i know, ew, huh?
i donno what's going on
but i hope it stops going on
and i'm definitely showering sometime tonight
and definitely washing all the clothes i've worn to work
and putting some sorta anti-itch stuff on my hand
there was something else that was bad
but i don't remember what
which is bad in itself
but the thing i don't remember wasn't so bad
else i think it'd remember it
it was probably the fact that i forgot to post about the party
but maybe it wasn't
eventually i will finish dubliners.
i'm reading each one 3 times
i donno if i mentioned this
the first time, i read it with all the footnotes
the second time is like a day after the first
so it's had a little time to sink in
and this time, i'll try not to use the footnotes
kinda to see if i remember what they mean
and kinda to see if knowing what's in them already
will provide me with a different view the second time around
and then the third time
that'll be after i've read them all
and then i'll read the entire book again
just to see how all the stories fit together
it's silly, i know
but each time, the reading goes faster
so it shouldn't take all *that* long
and anyway, this kinda strikes me as the sort of thing
that one *should* be doing when reading joyce
seeing it from different angles each time
drawing little different things from it
and all that sort of thing
anyway, i'm done again
