something about an error of some sort
it's weird, cause none of the other sites i visit are doing this.
ah well, i'll give it a try after i've rebooted.

it's neat, cause jon from goats reads wigu all the time
(and goats is linked to there, too, actually the buttons aren't too far apart)
it's neat to think that mike leffel is getting so up there on the comic ladder
especially since i kind of know him
and i've been reading goats so damn long, and i've always thought of it
as rather a professional-looking comic
and now, you don't even need 6 degrees of separation between the two
it's really nifty
it also reminds me of how many comics i've read
oh so many, but this time around, i haven't bothered to make a favorites list
because it would always get erased when my computer messed up
which it doesn't do anymore, but i just haven't done it
way to go mike, all the way up there with bobbins and such now.

anyway, that reminds me that i should do some comic-ing.

a few days ago, my dad and i went down to this quarry where my uncle works
my uncle showed us around the place and we looked at the machines
and there is this huge one called a crusher
(actually they were plural, but we only looked at the one)
what it does is takes gigantic rocks and, well, crushes them
so a truckload of rocks gets fed into the thing
and i'm looking down into this large, loud, powerful
potentially very dangerous machine that is turning big ole rocks into much smaller rocks
and the first thing i think is-
"munch munch, chew chew"

just something kinda odd and maybe a little sarah-ish i figured i'd put down here.
though it was really more of a "chomp chomp" sort of thing.

anyway, i wrote to bob scott to thank him for signing the guestbook
and he's even put me in the listee section on his links page
which is awesome.

i'm going to have to put some comics up, i really am.
not that it'll happen soon, mind you.
because i'll prolly procrastinate and end up not doing it.
but, you know, it needs doing.

i saw an anime show on the international channel
it was called the irresponsible captain tylor (or was it taylor?)
it was good, i liked. it was on after that same damn episode of dragon ball z
they should really move on
i don't have that much longer to preview this channel
they should give me lots of nice things to watch

i had a dream the other night about the johns sleeping in a car
and i talked to them and stuff
and i asked linnell if he could teach me how to play the accordion
and he said 4 things that i don't remember
but i know they made no sense whatsoever
and lauren had something to do with them being there

i think that was the night they were on tv, actually.

so there's this new toonami show
big o
now, it's not such a bad show
outlaw star was way better, in my opinion
but this is ok

my favorites are definitely gundam wing and tenchi muyo! which are such great shows. i'd just like to get me hands on some uncut versions of them. cause america cuts a whole mess of things out and changes them around. like the lesbian sailor scouts in sailor moon that were changed to friends or something. that was completely changed around.
that and the james having boobies clip that mike leffel had on his site.
and the putting bathing suits on naked characters, which is more understandable, but i still don't like it in the at alls. it's not like you can't tell they did it, i mean, if one bathing suit has an outline and another doesn't, it makes one think that maybe something's up. i guess i'm just kinda sick of other places being more progressive as far as this kind of thing goes. i mean, translate it as true to the original as possible, and put it on at an appropriate time slot for it's uncut, uncensored form. i know if i were the creator of a show, i wouldn't really cotton to people messing with it. i guess you *can* buy these things in a form more true to the original in the anime section of some places, and there *are* some anime stores about that would more than likely sell those verisons of the shows, but i'd rather just have the country be liberal enough to show it as is and if anyone doesn't like it, they can always choose not to watch. digital cable and satellite dishes both get over 200 channels, there should be something on that doesn't offend you. that's another thing, we should all have all the channels. that way, noone would be left out, and everyone would be able to find something they liked at any given time. i don't see why they don't do it that way, well, aside from the almighty dollar. but i think that would be a better way of running things than we have now. i just kinda think we could take a few lessons from the rest of the world on how to do things, cause in a bunch of cases, they've got a better system running.
cause really, is there *anyone* besides maybe dubya and his friends who likes the electoral college? which has nothing to do with tv, and everything to do with how we don't even really know how to elect a preisdent that should be the persident. i mean, really.

which i am still happy about
though i've seen only a buncha shows that i think are dramedies
which i made funny (if they either weren't or weren't meant to be)
by just making crap up

anyway, now it's about a gay guy who a few ladies seem to forget is gay
and hammocks
and. um. what else? curtains.

there's this commercial for a preview for a digital cable channel that was in march
and it sporadically interrupts the programming on the current one they're previewing
which is the international channel
and it's terribly annoying and i hope it stops
at first i thought, maybe they're running it over something you can't show on american tv
you know, because we came from tight-assed puritans
but no, cause they woulda put it over the nudity i saw in a french film last night
(which i affectionately dubbed a "philm"
see, cause my friend phil is french, and we tease him)
but hey, it's anime month this month
which makes me ultra-happy
because anime just rocks a billion tacos

my nailpolish is still around.
cause i likes it there
if i could get away with it, i'd wear makeup more often
but i can't so i guess i'll just save it for special occasions
